  • What should you leave at home?

    Lazy brook cabins is an off-the grid property. We conserve energy. Please leave behind these that can short out your electricity.

    • Deep fryer (Deep frying may not be done inside the cabin.)

  • May I smoke in the cabin?

    All of our cabins are 100% NON-SMOKING. There will be an additional cleaning charge if the cabin smells like smoke.

  • May we bring our pets?

    We do not allow pets.

  • Are children welcome?

    Children are welcome at Lazy Brook Cabins. For their safety it is not suitable for children under three.

  • Where can I buy groceries?

    There is an IGA grocery store in Crandon and larger chain stores in Rhinelander, WI and Iron Mountain, MI (both about 35 miles from the cabin)

  • What is supplied in the kitchen?

    Our fully Furnished Kitchen includes: pots and pans, dishes, utensils, hand mixer coffee cups, shot glasses, wine glasses, sheet pan, pot holders, measuring cups and spoons, toaster, bowls, foil, plastic wrap, common spices/seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder, Montreal Steak seasoning, cinnamon, vanilla, flour, sugar, brown sugar, powdered sugar)

    • This property does not have a microwave
    • Refrigerator runs on LP gas
    • Stove runs on LP gas
    • Sink – solar battery runs the well pump & provides fresh water
  • Do you provide daily housekeeping services?

    House cleaning is completed prior to checkin and upon checkout. There are 16 towels (2 per guest up to 8) and a second set of sheets for each bed size should they be needed.

  • What is our cancellation policy?

    Full refund if canceled within 14 days of the scheduled check in.

  • Can I hunt on the private property land of Lazy Brook Cabins?

    No, we do not allow hunting on the property. There are thousands of acres of public hunting land in the area for public use.

  • Is the property available for rent in the Winter?

    Winter rentals are available, however the property is not accessible without a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
